In a world where we are bombarded by information every minute of every hour of every day we strive to make your ideas and your thoughts stand out above the rest.  How does it make you feel, what does it make you think of, who will you tell and what will it make you do next?  We ask ourselves these questions, and deliver content that inspires, challenges and makes YOU take the next step into the unknown.

Philanthropy is a growing phenomenon.  But how do you communicate the issues that surround it, and show what a philanthropy ‘journey’ looks like?  In this instance we didn’t feel a true story would give us all the principal points in a realistic timeframe.  So we proposed a fully researched, scripted and cast five part drama series.  However, by retaining a documentary sensibility we were able to keep an entirely genuine feel, making the end product indistinguishable from a ‘real’ story.  Filmed on location in Ghana and the UK, this series is a good example of what can happen when filmmaker and client visit a project with an open mind, and the desire to make something genuinely ambitious and different.  Made for Coutts’ Knowledge Exchange, the films are part of our ongoing commitment to produce a range of content demonstrating the bank’s thought leadership.

Across the UK Family Businesses make up 65% of all businesses and bring with them a particular set of strengths and challenges.  The brief was to highlight these challenges, but getting a family business to really open up on camera was always going to be problematic.  So instead we brought our documentary approach to drama.  Fully researched, scripted and cast and told over four parts, the finished films feel totally authentic while touching all the major issues in a way a real case study never could.  A huge success, the film has helped Coutts further demonstrate their thought leadership in this crucial sector of British business.

What makes an entrepreneur?  Filmed with three highly successful people from three very different business backgrounds we set out to answer that very question.  Inspiring and insightful, if you’ve ever wondered what it takes to make it to the top then this film has some of the answers.

Louise Golding had a seemingly impossible idea – to create a dress made entirely of paper.  Now we needed to work out how to bring that to life.  Inspired by Disney’s Fantasia we wanted to give the dress a life of its own, so we approached award-winning stop frame animator Nina Pfeifenberger and asked her to work her magic.  We were delighted with the results as were the national press – who featured the video heavily in their coverage of London Fashion Week.

Filmed on Canon 7D with Dave Sproxton – co-founder of Aardman Animation, Claire Maurice founding partner of Maurice Turnor Gardner and Michael Conway, MD of FM Conway Ltd this film looks beautiful and also delivers some insightful and hard won observations from three very different business leaders.  It also has a guest appearance from Morph – a star long before anyone had ever heard of Wallace and Gromit!

Coutts approached us with the idea of complementing their new website with content. We suggested producing a number of blue chip short films featuring their clients and other inspiring people from the world of business. The first in the series Family Business gives an insight into the pressures and rewards of working with the people closest to you, your own family. Part of an ongoing series of films we are making for the bank.

This is the third time we have worked with Coutts on their economic Outlook films.  World-class analysis delivered with world-class production values these films have made Coutts the market leaders when it comes to delivering insightful but easily digestible economic forecasting.

A short film produced by Steven James, our new Junior Creative Assistant.  Steve looked like a good candidate on paper but we wanted to see how he was under pressure. So we sent him off there and then to Bournemouth beach and told him to shoot a film!  This is what he came back with and once you've seen it, you'll understand why we gave him the job....

Form Films was commissioned by Tony Bullimore and his PR team to make a short impactful film to show to potential investors who wanted to sponsor his next expedition. We ended up making 2 films, one short televisual promo and a longer presentation film which included details of how we can deliver a television content tie in to a branded campaign.

When Blackstone redeveloped the KX site they realised that onsite was an original William Pye sculpture, an artist who thirty years before had been starting and was now a mojor international figure in the arts world. To capture the dismantling and resurrection of this work Generation Estates commissioned this film to document a major moment in the career of one of our greatest living artists.
